The class started Lesson 16 with solving quadratic

(second degree) equations and inequalities.

Wed., 11/20/13 Lesson 15 - Compound Inequalities

The class has been discussing compound inequalities which includes determining if an OR and AND statements is true or false, solve and graph compound inequalities, and write compound inequalities given                                a graph or a situation. 

Class notes and worksheet are not available right now as scanner and internet connection is currently being updated at NBECHS. However, students should have their own copy of the notes they took in class and a copy of the homework worksheet.

Tue. 11/05/13 APPLICATIONS: Word Problems on Writing Linear Equations

The class discussed some real life applications of writing linear equations using the different forms we discussed earlier and how having the equations makes it easier to get answers for different values.
